Finance Administration Officer

Location:  Curacao

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Administration Officer to join our finance team, responsible for managing accounts payables, receivables, and other critical administrative tasks.

 

Objectives of the Role:

 

As a Finance Administration Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation of our financial processes. You will be responsible for handling the daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with all tax and statutory requirements. This role requires strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail, as well as the ability to support both internal and external stakeholders.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Process and manage accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure prompt follow-up with vendors, suppliers, and customers to resolve discrepancies and maintain good relationships.
  • Assist in preparing and submitting monthly tax filings and statutory payments, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  • Reconcile financial statements, prepare monthly reports, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Support month-end closing processes and assist in maintaining the general ledger.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly customer statements and follow up on outstanding invoices.
  • Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records to ensure audit readiness.
  • Assist with cash flow management and provide financial data to support decision-making.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in finance administration, accounts payable, receivable, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office (especially Excel). Proficiency in Quickbooks is a plus
  • Proficiency in business English is a must
